Postcards from the past

Enjoy a summer stroll through the picture-perfect Enid A. Haupt Garden and take a peek into the past at the same time. The Horticulture Services Division’s Archives of American Gardens is displaying enlargements of postcards from its Historic Postcard Collection behind the Moon Gate Garden along the east side of the Freer Gallery of Art. The exhibit was created for a Postcard Photo Booth activity for the 2009 Garden Fest  and will remain on display for the rest of the summer.
