April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. Each day we will put one of our valued volunteers in the spotlight as a way of saying thank you!

Kenneth Brown has been a Behind-the-Scenes volunteer since
2001.  A retired engineer who worked for NASA, he has volunteered at the Air and Space Museum, the Freer and Sackler Galleries and the Museum of Natural History. He is also a beekeeper and created a bee exhibit for the 2005 Folklife festival.
