The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden opens “Russian And Soviet Paintings, 1900-1930: Selections from the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow, and the State Russian Museum, Leningrad.” This is the first American exhibition of early 20th-century works by Russian and Soviet artists drawn exclusively from the two most important museums in the Soviet Union specializing in works from that period.
