Bats, crabs and “rodents of unusual size”

Smithsonian scientists have discovered hundreds of new species around the world. To mark this year’s International Day for Biological Diversity, May 22, check out just a few of the dozens of plant and animal species the Smithsonian has discovered in the past decade.
