Transformers 3: Now with more robots!

Tickets are on sale for Transformers: Dark of the Moon at the Johnson IMAX Theater at the National Museum of Natural History. Staff and volunteers with a valid Smithsonian ID may purchase an unlimited number of tickets at a special discounted rate of $10.00 – a savings of $5.00 off the standard admission price.

Come watch Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe, led by Optimus Prime, take on the evil Decepticons on the area’s largest IMAX screen. Current schedules are available online at www.si.edu/imax and at theater box offices.

The reduced rate tickets for staff and friends/family must be purchased in-person at a Smithsonian Theaters box office (Air and Space, Natural History or the Udvar-Hazy Center.  A valid Smithsonian ID is required to receive the discounted rate.  Box offices open daily at 10:00 AM and remain open until the final show of the evening has started.

Also, remember that staff and volunteers can see one free daytime (non-Hollywood) film per week.  An unlimited number of friends and family tickets may be purchased for $6.50.
