Sustainability at the Smithsonian: Time to Lead

Please join Secretary Wayne Clough for a talk, “Sustainability at the Smithsonian: Time to Lead,” on how the Smithsonian—given the breadth and depth of our national and global operations—is seeking to become a leader in sustainability. The Secretary will talk about why institutions have the unique ability—and responsibility—to create sustainable organizations to benefit their communities.

The event will take place in the Castle Library (on the third floor of the Castle) Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. It will be webcast at http://prism.si.edu/os/live.htm. ASL interpretation will be provided.
