The Numismatics Exhibit in the National Museum of History and Technology, now the National Museum of American History

April 7, 1980. National Museum of History and Technology Director Roger Kennedy authorizes a new name for the museum’s Division of Numismatics. It is now known as the National Numismatic Collection.
