June 1, 1979 Sesame Street moves to the National Museum of History and Technology, now the National Museum of American History, in the form of “Ten Years of Sesame Street”, an exhibit on display from June 1 through Labor Day in the Division of Community Life.

This is a the cover page to the book, “Sesame Street: Grover and the Everything in the Whole Wide World Museum” featuring Jim Henson’s muppets that was part of the exhibition.
