June 13, 1967

June 13, 1967  Secretary S. Dillon Ripley accepted the President’s 1966 Safety Award from President Lyndon B. Johnson on behalf of the Smithsonian, along with Safety Officer Richard S. Minnich, Assistant Secretary James C. Bradley, Director of the U.S. National Museum Frank A. Taylor, Director of the National Zoo  Theodore H. Reed, and Andrew Michaels, director of Facilities Services.
