June 17, 1978 The film, Celebrating a Century,produced produced by the Smithsonian Motion Picture Unit, Office of Exhibits, receives four Emmy Awards from the Washington Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Celebrating a Century was completed in 1976 as part of the Museum of History and Technology, now the National Museum of American History, Bicentennial Exhibition “1876.”
