June 9, 1984  “Artistic Collaboration in the Twentieth Century,” an exhibition of more than 100 works created by 70 teams of artists between 1913 and 1984, opens at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.

The image is a  photograph of the collage “Physiomythological Flood-Picture (Switzerland: Birthplace of Dada)&rdquo made by Max Ernst and Jean Arp in 1920. The collage was featured in the “Artistic Collaboration in the 20th Century” exhibition.
