JBWeilepp

JB Weilepp first began volunteering for Smithsonian Folkways Recordings in the Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage as a research assistant five years go, working on the preparation of Jazz: The Smithsonian Anthology. More recently, he has been helping write and edit brief descriptions of some of Folkways’ more than 2,000 music recordings. “In a word, I am allowed to listen to music and then write about it.  It doesn’t get any better than that!”
