Jennifer Northrup, director of Communications and Marketing for Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, is leaving the Smithsonian to assume a similar position at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, effective April 17. After 13 years at Cooper Hewitt and innumerable feathers in her cap from exhibitions and the National Design Awards to the museum’s recent grand reopening in New York, Jennifer will take her expertise to the west coast to promote SFMoMA’s imminent reopening.
