#WeSaveSpecies
How do we sum up 40 years of science at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute? Age may be just a number, but look at the progress we’ve made in saving the giant panda, the clouded leopard, the Panamanian golden frog, Elkhorn coral, and on and on to understand the impact SCBI has had in four short decades. By studying the biology, behavior, genetics and habitats of rare and endangered species and training the next generation to follow in our footsteps, we’re making great strides towards preserving our planet’s biodiversity.
Happy 40th Anniversary!
