A Farewell to Secretary Skorton

Please join Secretary David Skorton for the third annual Smithsonian Volunteer Town Hall, Monday, April 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Ripley Center QUAD Lecture Hall. (Greeters in the Ripley Center will direct you to the Lecture Hall.)

Secretary Skorton will reflect on his time at the Smithsonian and host the forum discussion from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., joined by Julissa Marenco, Assistant Secretary for the Office of Communications and External Affairs. The meeting will be webcast and recorded for those who are unable to attend in person. ASL interpretation will be provided.

After the formal program, there will be a social hour with light refreshments for staff and volunteers to meet and mingle in an informal setting.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP by April 8 using VSys. In your profile, go to Find Opportunities > Training and Enrichments. Search for April 15 to find the event and sign up. If you have trouble responding in VSys, contact Abbey Earich at EarichA@si.edu for assistance.
