Helen Hill exhibits a talent for administration

Helen Hill has been named the new Administrative Officer for Smithsonian Exhibits. She assumes the responsibilities of Janette Pitts, who recently retired after a 23-year career with SIE. SIE is the Smithsonian’s one-stop shop for exhibitions—providing exhibit planning, development, design, and production services to all units of the institution.

She has helped manage many special events, including Smithsonian Teacher’s Night, Smithsonian Learning Lab training sessions, and the Smithsonian Secretary’s Youth Council meetings. Helen will be using her planning and coordination skills to help support SIE’s mission to provide our Smithsonian colleagues with the highest quality exhibit services.
