How the Smithsonian stores everything

If you think your overflowing closets and drawers need organizing, here’s some inspiration.

On November 17, the Office of Visitor Services and Volunteer Management hosted J.R. Smith, Program Manager at the Museum Support Center, for a virtual presentation and Q&A session about the facility.

During the talk, J.R. discussed the functions and layout of MSC, the Smithsonian’s principal off-site collections preservation and research facility. He also answered participants’ questions and shared a variety of photos from inside collections storage.
