Vote early, vote often!

The National Museum of the American Indian’s National Native American Veterans Memorial has been nominated by USA Today as one of the “Best New Attractions of 2020.” The memorial opened on Veteran’s Day 2020. You can vote for the memorial once per day until voting ends on Monday, December 21 at Noon ET at: https://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-new-attraction-2020/national-native-american-veterans-memorial-washington-dc/.  

The winners will be announced on Thursday, December 31 at Noon ET.

Smithsonian employees are eligible for a 30% discount from December 1, 2020 to January 31, 2021 on the companion book to the memorial, Why We Serve: Native Americans in the United States Armed Forces, which chronicles the generations of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians who have served in the United States Armed Forces during every military conflict since the country’s founding.
