In April, the Office of Visitor Services and Volunteer Management hosted Smithsonian American Art Museum Docent Manager, Geoffrey Cohrs, to lead an exploration into a beloved work from SAAM’s collection and a poem it inspired. The program concluded with an invitation for viewers to write their own poem inspired by our conversation during the event.
