COVID-19 Update: “Vaccination was my decision and my responsibility” Kevin Gover, Under Secretary for Museums and Culture

Getting sick and spending time in a hospital can be a scary experience, particularly when you never learn what caused your symptoms. When the COVID-19 pandemic started, this fear was prevalent, particularly in communities where health care was – and remains – scarce. For many, the development and availability of a COVID-19 vaccine removed some of the anxiety around getting sick. In this short video message, Kevin Gover, Under Secretary for Museums and Culture, explains how his own health experiences and feelings of personal responsibility informed his choice to get vaccinated.
