The Big Five at the Udvar-Hazy Center

Last month, OVS hosted a virtual tour of the Udvar-Hazy Center’s most popular aircraft exhibition. If you missed it then, don’t worry! The Internet is always ready to give you a second chance.

Last month, the Office of Visitor Services and Volunteer Management hosted their August Smithsonian Volunteer Enrichment program. The program introduced participants to the National Air and Space Museum’s Udvar-Hazy Center then delved into the “Big 5”—the largest artifacts at the facility and the ones most sought after by visitors. These are the B-29 Enola Gay, the SR-71 Blackbird, the Anglo-French Concorde supersonic airliner, the Boeing 367-80, and the Space Shuttle orbiter, Discovery. If you were unable to join us for the live program (or want to watch it again), the recording is now available!
