Space for Everyone: The Air and Space Museum launches new brand identity

Here’s to anyone who’s ever looked up…

National Air and Space Museum rebranded logo

The National Air and Space Museum has unveiled its new logo, designed to signal the moments of awe that inspire and fuel innovation. Whether you’re an airhead, a space case, or prefer to stay grounded, there’s something for everyone at the reimagined Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum. Eight new exhibitions open in Washington, D.C., Fall 2022.

The new Air and Space brand embraces the duality of the museum: aviation and space, technology and humanity, imagination and reality, and past milestones and future achievements.

“The reimagined Air and Space brand exemplifies our vision of helping build a nation of innovators and explorers,” said Chris Browne, John and Adrienne Mars Director of the National Air and Space Museum. “Ahead of opening transformed exhibitions this fall, our new brand helps us reintroduce the nation’s aerospace collection with new stories and unforgettable experiences.”

Because when it comes to the sky, there’s space for all of us.
