This year’s family-friendly event will feature 30 treat stations around the zoo while fun vignettes featuring frolicking skeletons and fantastic creatures liven up the Zoo’s main pathway, Olmsted Walk. The Elephant Community Center, Small Mammal House, and Reptile Discovery Center will be open, and the animals will be offered spooky enrichment activities and tasty treats.

Boo at the Zoo raises funds that support essential operations at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. The success of this family-friendly children’s trick-or-treating event relies on the generous support of our volunteers.

Please sign up to help with one, two or three nights of the event! Volunteers will be posted at treat stations around the park!
