A behind-the-scenes look at our behind-the-scenes podcast

Earlier this month, the Office of Visitor Services and Volunteer Management hosted a Smithsonian Volunteer Enrichment program on the Smithsonian podcast Sidedoor.

More than 155 million treasures fill the Smithsonian’s vaults, but where public view ends, Sidedoor begins. The Smithsonian’s flagship podcast brings listeners behind the scenes for stories of history, science, art and culture that can’t be found anywhere else.

Host Lizzie Peabody and producer James Morrison provided an inside look at how Sidedoor episodes are made!

If you were unable to join us for the live program (or want to watch it again), the recording is now available! As a reminder, we ask that you do not share our recordings outside of the Smithsonian as a courtesy to our presenters. Click the link below to access the program.

Have you missed some of the episodes mentioned in the program? You can find all of them on Sidedoor’s website here: https://www.si.edu/sidedoor
