Register now for the Smithsonian Staff Picnic

You don’t want to miss Mission Barbecue! Deadline to register is September 18.

he 21^st Annual Smithsonian Staff Picnic is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Arts & Industries Building (AIB), S. Dillon Ripley Center (Quad), and the Enid A. Haupt Garden. All staff, fellows, volunteers, contractors, and interns are invited to this free event.

Lunch will be provided by Mission Barbeque with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options provided by Eco Caters. Menus will be posted on the Smithsonian Community Committee’s Picnic website prior to the event. Advance registration is required to ensure that there is enough food for everyone.

Please register at s.si.edu/picnic24-registration no later than Wednesday, September 18, 2024.  A valid Smithsonian ID is required to attend the picnic.
