Staff and volunteers get free admission to the Craft2Wear show (Sunday only)
The annual Smithsonian Craft2Wear show of textiles, jewelry and wearable art takes place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28 – 29 at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC.
Washington, DC’s spectacular National Building Museum becomes the place to shop for the finest in American contemporary clothing, jewelry, and accessories. Some of the country’s best artisans will showcase and sell their crafts. Collectors and shoppers will find all price ranges on one-of-a-kind work. Craft2Wear is hosted by the Smithsonian Women’s Committee.
This year’s show will include a special exhibit of arts and crafts from the province of Gyeongsangbuk-do, Republic of South Korea. Eleven artists will be participating in this special exhibition.

Smithsonian staff and volunteers with a current ID badge receive FREE ADMISSION at the door Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Proceeds from the show will be used to fund grants to Smithsonian projects.

Sunday, September 29 – 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
