Sheryl Kolasinski honored by American Institute of Architects

Sheryl Kolasinski, director of the Office of Planning and Project Management, was elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects at a ceremony at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco on May 1.

The College of Fellows, founded in 1952, is composed of AIA members who are elected to fellowship by a jury of their peers and is one of the highest honors the AIA can bestow upon a member. Elevation to fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of the architect as an individual but also elevates before the public and the profession those architects who have made significant contributions to architecture and to society.

Fewer than 2,800 of the 86,000 members of the AIA are distinguished with the honor of fellowship.
