Sing the praises of the 2010 Unsung Heroes

Join Secretary Clough in honoring the 2010 Smithsonian Unsung Heroes!  Nominated by their colleagues, Unsung Heroes go the extra mile, lend their time and expertise unselfishly and make outstanding contributions to the Institution through initiative and ability.

Meet the honorees at a special ceremony Wednesday, April 21, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Meyer Auditorium at the Freer Gallery of Art and find out how they help make the Smithsonian a better place to work and visit.

All staff are invited to come and cheer for our outstanding colleagues:

  • Brian Abrams, National Museum of Natural History
  • Oris Acevedo-Taylor, Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute
  • Jose Ascanio Barahona-de Gracia, STRI
