Marina Koren

Writer Leah Binkovitz is leaving Smithsonian magazine’s Around the Mall print and online blog to pursue freelance opportunities.

The new writing/reporting fellow at Around the Mall is Victoria Gan. She graduated from Princeton University in May and has won several writing awards. Colleen Connolly and Marina Koren are also making contributions to Around the Mall, reporting and writing on a variety of topics.

Office of Developmment

Marly Norris, director of Institutional Relations, is leaving the Smithsonian to accept the position of Associate Vice President, Corporate & Foundation Relations at the University of San Francisco.

Norris joined the Smithsonian in 2011 and has been an important team leader as the Smithsonian has prepared for its first national campaign.
