Meet us for lunch!
The new Staff Cafeteria at the Air and Space Museum is open and ready for business! Located on the third floor, the cafeteria is open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. weekdays. Take the elevators to the third floor and follow the signs.
The lunchtime menu consists of hot and cold choices: an entrée with two sides, a variety of sandwich options, two soups, and a small salad bar. Vegetarian choices are available every day. In the morning, there are eggs, breakfast sandwiches and breads, such as muffins or bagels. The facility, managed through Smithsonian Enterprises, is operated by Restaurant Associates.
The cafeteria also can cater meetings and events, providing sandwiches and other items by special order. For catering information, contact Mark Sozio at x3-7041 (VoIP) or 202-633-7

Please put me down as another vote for a staff cafeteria at Hazy: the unfinished space on the 5th floor above the IMAX theater would be perfect!
And if not a staff cafeteria, could we at least get some other options? Currently our choices are limited to 1) McDonald’s, and 2) the chips & candy vending machine down by Security. Something like a Subway could fit nicely into the old McCafe space.
Why can’t we have a Staff Cafeteria at the Air and Space Museum at Udvar Hazy? We have a vacant space up by the observation tower.
