The Heart of the Matter

Secretary Wayne Clough, as a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, served on the Commission on the Humanities and Social Sciences that produced the recent report, The Heart of the Matter: The Humanities and Social Sciences for a Vibrant, Competitive, and Secure Nation. He gave a speech on this topic on October 31, 2013 and participated  in a panel discussion at the University of West Georgia Annual Interdisciplinary Conference in the Humanities.
