Don’t miss the 2014 Smithsonian Craft2Wear Show

What: A show and sale of wearable art to benefit the Smithsonian, featuring jewelry, clothing and accessories

A dazzling display of artistic inspiration and timeless fashion. Over 50 American craft and wearable art designers, all previously juried into the renowned Smithsonian Craft Show, will offer unique jewelry, clothing and accessories. Items for women and men will be available in all price ranges, with many under $100.

Craft2Wear is produced by the Smithsonian Women’s Committee. All proceeds are used to fund grants that support the work of scientists, conservationists, and curators in the Smithsonian’s national network of museums, research stations, traveling exhibits, educational activities and the National Zoo.

When: October 25 – 26, 2014, Saturday and Sunday
Friday, October 24: Advance Chance Party 5:30 – 9:00 p.m.

The Advance Chance Party offers an exciting opportunity for the best Craft2Wear shopping, accompanied by wine, a light buffet and music. Fashion models will present some of the exhibitors’ most interesting and eye-catching creations.
Tickets: $65. Reservations required

Saturday: October 25, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday: October 26, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Daily Admission: $8. Payable at the door, cash only
