When: 2:00 – 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov.13

Where: Stars & Stripes Café, National Museum of American History

What:

1. Pie Judging
The professional chefs of the American Indian Museum, the American History Museum, Natural History, Air and Space and the Castle are putting their best efforts up against the amateur bakers from NMAH staff. Make a $5 donation to the Combined Federal Campaign and join Secretary Clough in judging the best pie at SI.

2. Eat delicious pies
Apple Pie: Chef’s classic uses fresh, local apples in a flaky house-made crust.
Jack Daniels Pie: Sinfully rich carmelized chocolate walnut pie with a splash of bourbon.
Pumpkin Pie: It’s not Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie. This one is filled with a perfect blend of roasted pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
Apple Cranberry Crumble: A unique blend of tart apples, sweet pears, and dried cranberries topped with a buttery brown sugar crumble.

$4.00 plus tax. Includes apple cider!.
