Call for Talent!

Vintage One Man Bands (1)

The Smithsonian Community Committee is pleased to sponsor the 14th annual SI Staff Picnic on the Mall Tuesday, June 30, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The picnic is open to all staff, volunteers, fellows, and interns.

Great entertainment is one of the reasons this event is so popular year after year. The SCC is seeking talented performers for the 2015 picnic. This is a great opportunity to show your colleagues a side of you they might not know.

Professional musicians and groups with Smithsonian roots, semi-pros, and other talented individuals are invited to apply. Dance acts are also welcome.  Interested parties should submit an audition sample by CD, DVD or URL to Charlie Weber at weberc@si.edu or MRC 520.  Submissions are due no later than close of business on Wednesday, May 27.
