With the Smithsonian’s 175th birthday just around the corner, it’s heartwarming to think about all of the remarkable Smithsonian experiences that have filled these 175 years.

Maybe you still remember the thrill of seeing the dinosaurs on a grade school field trip to the National Museum of Natural History. Maybe you enjoyed a Saturday afternoon with a dear friend at one of the Smithsonian’s traveling exhibits in your hometown. Or maybe you were able to share a remote experience by playing one of the Smithsonian’s distance learning games with your grandchildren.
