In Memoriam: Remembering Effie Kapsalis
We invite you to come together next Monday, Dec 11 to remember the life and impact of our dear friend and colleague, Effie Kapsalis.
Circle of Remembrance
- Mon, Dec 11
- 2:30-4pm
- National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) 4th floor (Room 4018 + 4019)
All are invited. Feel free to bring food or beverages, Effie was an excellent cook and appreciated any opportunity to gather with friends and break bread.
Everyone experiences grief and loss differently and this time and space is being set aside to come together and support one another to celebrate, reflect, and heal on the anniversary of Effie’s passing.
The afternoon is an open space for staff to be together, share memories, and comfort one another. In addition, staff from the Smithsonian Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will be onsite and will have materials available.
For those who can’t attend in person, please feel free to visit and share on Effie’s Memorial page: https://everloved.com/life-of/effie-kapsalis/
